All recommended canons will take 45 minutes or less to consume—many of them much less! We have a mixture of music/music videos, short stories, fake articles, comics, and miscellaneous other things. (Music and music videos were so popular that we're going to have about one of those a day every day of April!)

2 Page comics in a variety of horror tones (some are cutely spooky, some absurd, some gory or body horror-y). Each one stands alone, though there are some recurring characters and repeated themes. For example: several with an eldritch horror twist on classic fairy tales; vignettes about cute sheet-ghosts that tend toward sweeter endings; a human predator discovering that his prospective victim is much more dangerous than he is; apparently-normal objects or cute animals actually being lovecraftian horrors; anthropomorphized things exacting revenge against the humans that use them; unexpected bodily transformations; it-was-only-a-nightmare... or-was-it?!, lovingly-illustrated cats as implacable murder-machines, etc.
I'm likely to nom/request a batch of the bedsheet ghost comics as a single canon and possibly a couple of other stand-alones, but there's enough variety in his portfolio that I thought other people might find Very Small Canons of interest among them as well.

This gorgeously animated music video is very vibes-heavy. A young, damaged foundling that I originally thought was an extremely androgynous young woman turns out to be a young man (but very butch woman or nonbinary person takes in fanfic would also be very welcome) stumbles into a world ruled by witches and is taken in and raised by a kind witch. Alongside this, a shady witch who was once friends with the kind witch does unsettling human experiments? The foundling grows up, the witch dies, the foundling dies and then is revived and comes into our world... I am dying to know more about what the shady witch is up to and there is great potential to write fucked up lesbian situationships here.

SCP articles can be enjoyed individually, without full knowledge of the expansive and often contradictory SCP universe – in fact, it would near impossible to consume all the lore spread across thousands of articles. As no further canon knowledge is required outside the individual articles, allow me to introduce the specific anomaly I’ll be requesting, SCP-7819: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-7819 SCP-7819 is a predatory location that manifests along exits of U.S highways. It presents as a small roadside hotel or motel advertising vacant rooms.
This SCP smushes every liminal space you can think of into one extremely strange building, with some extremely strange goings on inside. The motel preys on tired drivers who also happen to be past or present employees of the Foundation. These unfortunate souls have no choice but to book in. As part of the article, Foundation staff have written a “Survival Guide” to the motel, which shares tips on how to make it out alive.
The article is 3,500~ words, or a roughly 25-minute read. It’s great.

A short Twine game with 3 possible endings, all discoverable in 15-20 minutes. The gameplay is quite simple but the text gives a lot of small-but-suggestive details about the characters (and their relationship, their respective pasts, their work, other people in their orbit, the explicit details of what they did last night, potential futures, etc.) that might make nice jumping-off points for fanworks.

This fic is a beautiful combination of Arranged Marriage, Estranged Childhood Best Friends to Lovers, Mutual Pining, Not Actually Unrequited Love, Misunderstandings, that eventually results in a happy ending.

In the faraway futuristic year 2005, humans are only now getting back to living in the deserts following massive drought. The land is plagued by water bandits and worse, and the only people who can protect the innocent are the US marshals. This includes Garson McBeth and his cyborg partner, RX-107 (McBeth just calls him Rex). On the surface this single episode/pilot/TV movie is about the two marshals escorting two mail-order brides to their new husbands, but there are a lot of interesting things implied by some of the worldbuilding, not the least of which is the relationship between McBeth and Rex.

One of Taz Muir's early efforts, this is a story about a girl (Jesse) who finds a trapped fungal alien supervillain in the woods. It's a coming of age story for her in a manner of speaking; the alien and girl have conversations about morality in which they needle each other and Jesse kicks off an apocalypse by feeding what's implied to be a serial rapist/predator to the alien. I like the evil-mentorship vibes, the way Jesse herself is a very questionable character, and the body horror bodysharing at the end.

When Sironn married the King of Kadar, he quickly grew to understand that the King had all the power, and Sironn had none at all. Which is why Sironn considers it nothing short of a miracle he outlived the abusive tyrant.
He'll take solace in that, as his own end is no-doubt coming quickly now that his husband has been declared a traitor and executed for his crimes. After all, there's only one thing to do with a deposed king's spouse, and that's kill him as quickly as possible.
One problem. The new king, Eshan, disagrees.

Achilles was a Greek demigod who fought in the Trojan War, and the hero of Homer’s Iliad.
In this song, the character of Achilles is standing on a rooftop, ready to kill himself. The vocalist is trying to convince him to come down, and that his intrusive thoughts are lies.
The song plays with the narrator (who is begging Achilles to "come down") and a second narrator who is egging Achilles on to jump off the roof.
Interpretations vary however the two main interpretations is that it's his lover (assumed to be Patroclus, unnamed in the song) talking him down, while his enemies (assumed to be in the Trojan War/unnamed) or Achilles himself tries to convinces him to jump.
The other interpretation is that after his lover (assumed to be Patroclus, unnamed) dies we face an Achilles who is in internal conflict with himself and that he is both people, trying to convince himself to jump off the roof and not at the same time.
The song is understandable without other knowledge, but should you want to write about Patroclus as his lover specifically (who goes unnamed) any general knowledge/wiki page/passing by tumblr comment you've seen is enough background information to write for this song. It really stands alone.

I'm not great at interpretting music videos but I have a lot of feelings about this one.

Long story short, they are a human+nonhuman partnership that clearly are psychically linked and I specifically would be curious about their backstory, how they met, what their dynamic is like as partners and friends, fic shipping them, fic with an ambiguous relationship they don't care to define...

It's *supposed* about the origin story of the sea goddess Nyai Roro Kidul and her involvement in the establishment of the Mataram/Medang kingdom. However, a common form of drama in Indonesia is apparently to retell commonly known stories that people already know, without actually giving a lot of the information, because the audience already knows it.
With the bad voice acting in English, the big reason to watch it is because it's so terrible and confusing that it's an *experience*.
