Generally, we do not ask for feedback during events, only after they've concluded. However, auctions were a long, high-energy, detailed, silly, and very unusual event format to conduct. We still don't know if we're going to ever run auctions again, but we suspect that if we don't someone else eventually will—in which case the feedback from this post can be helpful to them too!
Comments on this post will be screened forever; we will never unscreen. This does mean that it might be impossible (if posting anonymously) or hard (if posting logged in) to edit your feedback later, but you can always just send in another comment since we'll be reading all comments at the same time later anyway.
What this post is for
- Letting us know what part of auctions worked for you, and what didn't.
- Letting us know what part of crimes worked for you, and what didn't.
- Letting us know what you've found confusing, or even which parts of rules/instructions/documentation could be better
- Letting us know what you've found frustrating, and why you think it was frustrating
- Letting us know if you had a good or bad time
- Letting us know any stray "hey wouldn't it be cool/funny if you changed x?" thoughts you're having (although we would like you to make a distinction between things you think we should change to improve the participant experience vs things you think we could change just for fun)
What this post is not for
- Things going wrong or causing you problems in this event that you want fixed now
- Things you think we should change for penny auctions
- Anything else related to how the current event is going that you're hoping will be changed during the event
- ...because we're not going to look at your feedback until the event is over!
Also, please do not discuss your feedback anywhere on the event server! We can't focus on feedback while we're modding an event, which is why this feedback post is set up like this.
